Raena Blaze

Guitar/Vocals

Raena is a multi-instrumental musician whose artistry is rooted in rhythm, voice, and storytelling. Beginning her journey on the drums at the age of eight and discovering her vocal expression just two years later, she has spent her life exploring the intersections of sound and emotion. Her evolution into guitar and songwriting marked a natural expansion of her craft, allowing her to weave percussive textures, lyrical honesty, and melodic depth into a distinctive musical language.

Her work is shaped as much by her travels as by her instruments. Having performed across Europe and the western United States, Raena draws inspiration from the landscapes, cultures, and connections she encounters along the way. Each performance becomes both a reflection and an offering—an intimate dialogue between her own experiences and the universal truths of her audience.

Balancing raw vulnerability with refined musicianship, Raena’s music embodies motion, memory, and presence. She continues to carve out a space that is uniquely her own—where rhythm becomes narrative, melody becomes confession, and every song feels like a journey both personal and shared.

Violin/Mandolin

McKenzie Warren picked up the violin at age 11 and never really put it down. Since the late ’90s, he’s performed with dozens of symphony orchestras and taken the spotlight as a soloist with the Orchestra of Southern Utah, the Southwest Symphony, and the Symphony of the Canyons. He’s been a concertmaster more times than he can count — leading the DSU Orchestra, the DSU Chamber Orchestra, and the Symphony of the Canyons — and spent three unforgettable seasons performing as the lead violinist at Tuacahn Center for the Arts in shows like Annie, Aladdin, and The Little Mermaid.

Throughout his journey, McKenzie has trained with some of the world’s most celebrated violinists, including Ralph Matson, Frédéric Moreau, Alice Lourdes, Misha Rosenker, and Jenny Oaks Baker. From 2008 to 2014, he studied under the mentorship of Dr. Paul Abegg, sharpening both his technique and artistic voice.
